🚨 LAST ONE STANDING: WEEKEND CARNAGE LEAVES JUST 11 SURVIVORS! 🚨

A quick update on the Last One Standing competition, and what a dramatic day it has been!

Heading into this weekend, 77 of the original 182 entrants remained in contention. However, the Saturday fixtures have delivered nothing short of a footballing bloodbath so far.

So far, only Nottingham Forest and Ipswich Town have emerged victorious, and the consequences have been devastating for our competitors. Every entrant who selected a team that has already played this weekend  has now been eliminated from the competition.

As things stand, just 11 players remain standing.

The majority are putting their faith in Arsenal, with eight players backing the Gunners. Elsewhere, one brave contestant has selected Brighton away to Coventry, while another is relying on Newcastle United to get the job done against Leeds United.

With so much riding on the remaining fixtures, the tension is building and the field is rapidly narrowing. 

As Sunderland v Arsenal kicks off, all eyes turn to the Stadium of Light. Will the eight Arsenal backers safely navigate another round, or are we about to witness another twist on crazy day of Premier League results?
